Dr. Rebecca Kaye
Senior Advisor to the Superintendent
Guilford County Schools
Rebecca Kaye serves as Senior Advisor to the Superintendent for Guilford County (NC) Schools, the 50th largest district in the US, serving a diverse student body of about 69,000 in 126 schools. Prior to GCS, she was a catalyst for change in Oklahoma City Public Schools and Atlanta Public Schools. She began her career teaching middle school, and she has worked at the state, regional, and federal levels at the Southern Regional Education Board (SREB), the Georgia Department of Education, and the Presidential Management Fellows program in the US Department of Education.
Dr. Kaye holds a B.A. from the University of Virginia, an M.P.A. from Georgia State University, an Ed.S. from the University of West Georgia, and an Ed.D. from Vanderbilt University. She and her spouse live in Greensboro with their two children who love their Guilford County public schools.
