Dr. Rachel Edoho-Eket is a wife, mother, principal, speaker, author, and President of the Maryland Association of Elementary School Principals. As the principal of a National Blue Ribbon school in Maryland, she is a life-long learner who strives for excellence for everyone she serves.

Named one of the Top 100 Influencers in Education by District Administration magazine, Dr. Edoho-Eket has dedicated her life’s work to supporting all stakeholders in public education. She is a highly sought after thought leader and keynote speaker who has spoken at many prominent educational events including TEDx, ASCD/ISTE, South by Southwest EDU, and Model Schools. Dr. Edoho-Eket’s first best-selling book, “The Principal’s Journey: Navigating the Path to School Leadership” provides a practical blueprint for educators to follow as they transition into new leadership roles. Her second best-selling book, “Relational Intelligence: The Key Factor to Exceptional School Leadership,” focuses on trust, communication, and connection as the foundation for leading excellent schools. She is the host of the live-streaming series, “Strong Start Sundays” which features a vibrant community of leaders sharing helpful strategies for success in today’s schools.

Dr. Edoho-Eket holds a B.S. in Early Childhood and Elementary Education from Temple University, a M.S. in Curriculum and Instruction from McDaniel College, and a Doctorate in Leadership and Professional Practice from Trevecca Nazarene University.
